Over Rating

English한국어

Over Rating is a rating calculated based on more problems than the AC Rating, and rises as you solve more difficult problems on Baekjoon Online Judge. The 1,000 most difficult problems you have solved are reflected in your rating.

Checking Over Rating

You can check the Over Rating at the bottom of the AC Rating section on your profile page.

Formula

The Over Rating is determined by the following formula:

(Over Rating)=11.8×(Number of solved problems (up to 1000))+0.2×(Sum of the difficulty values of the top 1000 solved problems)\begin{aligned} \left(\text{Over Rating}\right) &= 11.8 \times \left(\text{Number of solved problems (up to }1\,000\text{)}\right) \\ &+ 0.2 \times \left(\text{Sum of the difficulty values of the top }1\,000\text{ solved problems}\right) \end{aligned}
  • Difficulty value refers to the difficulty of the problem, converted to 1 point for Bronze V, 2 points for Bronze IV, … 30 points for Ruby I. The higher the difficulty of the problem, the higher the rating you can achieve.

Special Effects

Once the Over Rating reaches certain thresholds, a special gradient effect is applied to the AC Rating section on the profile page.
